We are looking for the right export partners to bring our proven working method worldwide

At SchermNed no screen or insect netting system leaves the warehouse until every last detail of its installation has been worked out, whether it is destined for a greenhouse in the Westland region or one thousands of kilometers away. That precision, built up since 1990, has become as much of an export product as the screen installation and insect netting themselves, says Jack van der Voort.

Craftsmanship in the complete package

Every project starts with a request from a grower or greenhouse builder and ends with an installation that fits exactly, even when we never visit the site itself. The situation is fully drawn and calculated in 3D, down to every dimension, seam, and fastening point. These drawings result in detailed technical drawings that leave no room for interpretation, from which the exact materials and quantities required are determined. What we deliver is a complete package, assembled in the correct quantities and sequence, matching the drawings, assembly instructions, and installation videos precisely. This includes the export templates needed to meet logistics and border-crossing requirements.
"Insect netting and screen installations are available in many places. What matters is whether everything has been thought through before the first package even leaves the building," Jack says. For larger or more complex screen installations, a SchermNed supervisor often travels along to oversee the work on site and answer questions during assembly. The insect netting filter system, meanwhile, is designed so that an installation team can fit it independently, without supervision. In both cases, the engineering has to be precise enough that execution, wherever it takes place in the world, holds no surprises.

The indispensable link on site

This way of working now extends beyond the Netherlands. We already supply complete packages to growers and greenhouse builders abroad, working with local partners. These partners know the grower, the greenhouse, and the market that much better, while we focus on the engineering and quality of the installation itself. That combination gives local partners access to high-end installations, carried out by their own teams but built on the same engineering and quality standards the company has delivered in the Netherlands for years."A partner like this isn't a reseller who occasionally sells on some netting or screen systems. We're looking for a specialist who knows the customer, the greenhouse, and the market, and who can take on the whole process, from the first conversation through to assembly. We make sure that what we supply is always correct. And if needed, we can always help put together an installation team," says Jack. Now that this way of working has proven itself in practice, we want to expand our network of partners further internationally.
It is a division of roles built on mutual expertise. Our organisation brings more than thirty-five years of engineering experience to every complete package, from screen installations to its insect netting systems. The local partner contributes market knowledge and, where relevant, its own installation team to carry out the work on the ground. Now that the process has proven itself, it's a combination we intend to repeat in more places.
