Holstein Flowers protects their gerberas with insect netting filter
Holstein Flowers from De Lier, like SchermNed, is a close-knit family company that has been growing gerberas since 1974. They are now one of the largest gerbera growers in the world with two locations of almost 11 hectares combined. Holstein Flowers chose the SchermNed insect mesh filter system to protect their gerbera cultivation in an environmentally friendly way.
Second screen installation mounted at Maatschap R.A.A.M. Janssen
At Maatschap R.A.A.M. Janssen Paprika's in Nootdorp, Reinier Janssen and his son Gijs have had a second screen installation mounted under the current one by SchermNed. They are part of one of the largest growers' cooperatives in the Netherlands, Oxin Growers.
Insect netting: Klondike Gardens fights Turkish Moth
In Berkel en Rodenrijs earlier this year, SchermNed screen installations and insect netting was able to realize a beautiful insect netting project for Klondike Gardens. They are part of growers' association Summit Gerbera. Klondike Gardens is known for growing their very high quality Gerberas in an environmentally friendly way.
Project visit in the USA: Texas & Virginia
Halfway through October Ruben Voois (project leader) and Jack van der Voort (director) boarded the plane to America on behalf of SchermNed for two project visits in Texas and Virginia. In both projects new greenhouses are being built by our partner Van Der Hoeven Horticultural Projects.
